: FinancialCounselEccleston Law Investigates Dante DeMiro For Allegedly Operating $10 Million Ponzi Scheme
By James Eccleston
The attorneys at Eccleston Law have launched an investigation into Dante DeMiro of Milford, Michigan for his role in allegedly orchestrating a $10 million Ponzi scheme. DeMiro is currently facing felony fraud charges which carry a sentence of 30 years in prison.
According to the FBI, through his firms MuniVest Financial Group and MuniVest Services, DeMiro allegedly solicited customers to purchase certificates of deposits worth millions of dollars. DeMiro is also believed to have sold more than $500,000 of promissory notes in a Regulation D offering.
Rather than invest the money as promised, DeMiro allegedly used the investor money for personal use, to make loans to a local jewelry store, and to repay earlier investors in classic Ponzi scheme manner.
Eccleston Law represents individual and institutional investors to recover their investment losses caused by unsuitable investment recommendations, breach of fiduciary duty, negligence or other misconduct.
