: FinancialCounselEccleston Law Investigates Daniel Sholom Frishberg Following SEC Charges
By James Eccleston
Eccleston Law has recently launched an investigation of Houston businessman Daniel Sholom Frishberg, who is the principal of Daniel Frishberg Financial Services, an investment advisory firm that is registered with the SEC.
The investigation follows a lawsuit recently filed by the SEC against Frishberg claiming that Frishberg advised clients of his investment advisory firm to invest in promissory notes issued by Kaleta Capital Management, a private firm owned by Albert Fase Kaleta and by Business Radio Networks, L.P. d/b/a ?BizRadio?. According to the SEC, Frishberg authorized Kaleta to offer the notes to his clients, but failed to provide the clients with critical disclosures regarding BizRadio?s financial condition and the likely inability of the company to repay the notes. Furthermore, the SEC alleges that investors were not told about Frishberg?s conflicts of interests in the note offerings, such as the fact that the note proceeds funded BizRadio?s operating expenses which included Frishberg?s and Kaleta?s salaries.
