KingCast epiphany on Liko Kenney's 5/11 request for another officer: He was legally correct, and Bruce McKay was wrong.

ADVERTISEMENTS
I'm going to fill this in later, but for now just read this carefully, along with Bill Kenney's letter to NH Speaker of the House Terie Norelli. Remember Liko was correct in 2003 as well given the point at which McKay told him on video that he was "seized." And wait until we get our mitts on that original dash cam video, I got my guy who used to run a public access station, and a former LE in tow for that experience, yah. Prolly on 15 April, 2008. It's going to get uglier before it gets better, I'll tell you that.

And guess what? I just received from a lil' birdy in the snail mail a hard copy of Art McGrath's 2 April 2008 story in the Littleton Courier that notes the Town had policies that Corporal McKay

"clearly violated in the car chase that led up to his death."

Scans on Sunday, maybe 2:00p.

Second is Policy D: Pursuit Tactics:

(3) Officer shall not attempt to overtake a fleeing vehicle.

(4) Officers may not intentionally use their vehicle to bump or ram the suspect's vehicle in order to force the vehicle to stop or to be pushed into a ditch.

Pursuit shall be immediately terminated in any of the following circumstances:

(E) The suspects identity has been established to the point that later apprehension can be accomplished, and there is no longer any need for immediate apprehension.

What part of that did McKay not understand? Over a damn inspection sticker? Something in the water does not compute. I hate this guy -- he also violated the OC Spray policies and then he died.
