NH House Speaker Noreli's response to KingCast/Kenney RSA 91-A request appears to be tardy pursuant to pending HB 1408.

By Christopher King

ADVERTISEMENTS
On 3 April I wrote these requests for emails to and from her office on the failed HB 1428 Bruce McKay Highway bill and requesting a special fraud counsel be appointed.

On 4 April these requests were seconded via email from Bill Kenney, Liko Kenney's Uncle.

It is now 15 April, 2008 and I am concerned that I have not heard back yet, 'cos like, you get five (5) days to issue a response to RSA 91-A Requests. Again:

"....within 5 business days of request, make such record available, deny the request in writing with reasons, or furnish written acknowledgment of the receipt of the request and a statement of the time reasonably necessary to determine whether the request shall be granted or denied....."

I will telephone the Speaker's Office today from 3-time felon Gregory W. Floyd's trial for Criminal Threats, as reported by NHPR's Chris Jensen, to see what's going on.

We're gonna' have lots of cameras in the Courtroom, yah.

PS: If NH AG Kelly Ayotte tells Speaker Noreli not to provide the emails I'll sue her again in a City Minute. See the rules aren't exactly clear but the general presumption, as stated by the New Hampshire Local Government Center, is that the emails are a public record. Accord pending HB 1408. However, Kelly was not proactive enough to make sure that the Right-to-Know Study and Oversight Commissions even filed a 2006 Report, even though such an animal is required by law (RSA 91-A:11-15) to be filed each and every year, and she has a designee on such Commission.
