Troy Britain Reveals Creationist Roots of Expelled

By Ed Brayton

ADVERTISEMENTS

Troy Britain shows us why he's such an invaluable addition to the science blogging world with two posts (part one and part two) analyzing a document put out by Expelled producers, which they called a Leader's Guide, to help promote the issues surrounding the movie. This guide, it turns out, is full of anti-evolution boilerplate that is taken directly from creationist writings that go back decades. He takes claim after claim from that document and shows how they echo, sometimes nearly verbatim, arguments made by pre-ID creationists. These are exactly the kind of detailed, well-researched posts that we need more of and kudos to Troy for doing such a great job with them.
