: Legal Pad | LALepine drops sexual harassment suit against Aguirre
By Jason Siegel
Former deputy city attorney Amy Lepine agreed to drop her lawsuit against the city of San Diego and City Attorney Michael Aguirre, who she ran unsuccessfully against in the primary election, 10 News reported.
Lepine, who resigned from her post in August 2006, claimed wrongful termination, gender discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation and intentional infliction of emotional distress in the lawsuit. (see earlier posting on the lawsuit here)
Lepine offered to settle the suit four weeks ago, she told 10 News.
Aguirre told the San Diego T.V. station that Lepine wasn't getting paid any damages from him or the city, in exchange for their not seeking attorney fees or claiming malicious prosecution.
