: Chris King's 1st Amendment PageHey KingCast why do you say it doesn?t really matter if Corporal Norman Bruce McKay?s Motorola was actually set to MUTE?
By Christopher King

Well when I read the pursuit policy I was in a hurry and missed this:
VEHICULAR PURSUIT
II. The primary goal of the department is the protection of life and property. If the vehicle pursuit exposes any officer, suspect, or member of the general public to an unnecessary risk of harm or injury, the pursuit is inconsistent with that goal. To effect these obligations, it shall be the policy of the department to narrowly regulate the manner in which vehicular pursuit is undertaken and performed.
B. Pursuit Officer Responsibilities.
3. Radio contact shall be maintained with the communications center and the officer shall coherently and concisely continue to broadcast the location and direction of travel of the vehicle pursued. ALL other radio communications will cease unless it is of an emergency nature.
I have documented where Bruce McKay clearly violated 7 OTHER pursuit and OC Spray directives. Which begs the question of why virtually no other media has picked up on this, and why even the Concord Monitor erroneously wrote on 26 July 2007:
?Nothing McKay did appears to obviously contradict the department's policies..."
KingCast: Haste makes waste, so we'll be sure to take our time and to have it all dialed in when we approach the U.S. House in a coupla'months.
