: Structured Settlements 4RealJack Meligan of Settlement Professionals has "Hot Tagged" Me to Promote His Latest Video
By John Darer
Back in my college days when I had a DJ business and was spinning records (yeah records!) I had the knack of picking out which sound was going to work. At the time I dreamed of being an A&R Director (artist & repertoire) for a major label. Well today it seems that Jack Meligan, of Settlement Professionals, Inc. (SPI), and former President of the Society of Settlement Planners (SSP), appreciates my good name and established audience so much that he's used my name without authorization to promote the Settlement Professionals Inc. videos on Structured Settlement Approved Lists even though I'm not part of the content.

Having already reviewed the "do it yourself", hand flapping laden videos Jack posted last month on the Settlement Professionals blog I guess he must have felt my review worthwhile enough to "hot tag" me. If you check out the grainy HIPAA Scare video, Meligan has downscaled to thumb twiddling, just before he apparently hears "a voice" in his head and with the subtlety of a jackhammer at piano recital suddenly places his hands in his lap. Why Jack forgot to "powder his desk" who knows, as the exposed shiny reflection made his shirt look like a pup tent. Then one should have one's lines sufficently rehearsed or have the teleprompter in front , not to your right as in Meligan's case, so that it seems like you're playing "zoom schwartz profigliano".
If I were making a video podcast I'd pay someone to produce them professionally and I wouldn't use a competitor's name to promote an unrelated video. But then that's just me.
