: A Paralegal's BlogBeaufort County Eliminates Staff Attorney Post, Considers Hiring Paralegal
Beaufort County[, North Carolina] has eliminated its full-time staff attorney position, which was held by Kelly Golden, in this year's budget.County administrator Gary Kubic said the move was part of a re-organization of several departments. He said he would not replace Golden.
"I'm thinking about bringing in a paralegal and farming out the legal work to law firms," said Kubic.
