Wow, that was terrible.  I guess I expected it would be.  I lasted 33 minutes until I had to turn it off.  My fiancee made me watch it.  That is my excuse.  But I found the Republican convention more interesting to watch, and I even found the dialogue almost as realistic.  I went to a BBQ on Monday and was excited to discover that I was not the only person there who had spent the weekend reading the crazy online blog stuff about Sarah Palin's faked pregnancy and how she tried to ban books from the Alaska library system and that she was born a man.

(Oh, also, a friend asked me if I could link to his brother's new website, Lawyer Search Guide, which is apparently a site where lawyers and clients can find each other for routine legal needs like buying a house and writing a will, and clients can read reviews of lawyers before they decide to hire them, and I don't really know anything else about it, but here's a link, in case anyone happens to be looking for exactly such a thing.  A quick skim of the FAQ tells me that it is free and there is something called a Hot List, which I hope does not have anything to do with the attractiveness of the lawyers who sign up.)
