So, here we are. Tuesday. I find Tuesdays to be the worst day of the week, and as such my creative juices are zapped. So instead I shall share a few things with you that I bet you didn't know. Or wanted to know. And keep in mind that the October book, chosed by Anonymous Hottie will be revealed early next week.

1. I love oatmeal. Mmm. Oatmeal. Yesterday Starbucks sent me not one but two- yes two- coupons for free oatmeal at my local Sbux. To say I was elated was the understatement of the century. Starbucks + Oatmeal? Say it isn't so. I can die happy.

2. My favorite time of year is October-January. I love the holidays (more on that at another time). Right now I'm digging my two mini pumpkins on my coffee table (one orange, one white with green stripes...nature is so funky...) and BISMOW is trying to not squish them when he puts his feet on my table. Tsk.

3. I'm one of those people who falls asleep fairly soon after I go to bed. I need about ten minutes of a dark, cool, quiet room and I'm out. But if the room is hot, I'm going to toss and turn all night.

4. My iPhone has become attached to my hand and I'm ok with it. BISMOW, not so much.

5. I have the same handwriting as my Mother. I also have her smile. The rest of me is like Papa Duke, down to the walk, talk & mannerisms. It is sort of freaky & weird.

6. I miss Jack the Super Poodle every single day. I cannot wait to get my own dog. He won't be Jack, but I'm sure he will be awesome. And terrorize or be-terrorized by Murphy.

7. Sleeping under the stars is pretty cool in theory. In real life, it sort of sucks. Daybreak anyone?

8. BISMOW and I watch a lot of the Food Network & the Discovery Channel. The other night we were mesmorized by a show on tornados. Mesmerized. If we ever have kids, they are doomed to geekiness.

9. When I was little I wanted nothing more than to dress up as Nancy Drew for Halloween. But as my Mother pointed out, what exactly would I wear?

10. I don't really collect anything, other than Nancy Drew books and the City Starbucks mugs. So far I have Chicago, Magnificent Mile (in Chicago), Pikes Place, Switzerland, and I think Atlanta. If any readers stumble across any awesome Starbucks city mugs & send them my way, not only will I pay them back, but I'd probably send a fun gift too. Especially for a New Orleans one. Just saying. (After re-reading that paragraph I've realized my collection sort of sucks. Ah well.)
