Hiscock & Barclay, LLP an established full service law firm with offices in Albany, Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, NYC, Boston-Metro, DC and Toronto seeks full time patent attorney to join our growing IP Group in our Syracuse and Rochester Offices.

Syracuse candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of patent prosecution, prior law firm or corporate experience and technical expertise in any of the following areas: Electrical Engineering, physics, software-related technologies, including business methods, system architecture and internet; semiconductor processing and manufacture, wireless communication and medical devices.

Rochester candidate will have 5 plus years of law firm experience with a technical background that might include chemical or chemical engineering, electrical engineering or software.

Requirements:
? License to practice in New York or the willingness and ability to be so licensed.

? Law degree from an accredited law school and high academic achievement in technical and law program.

? Strong verbal and writing skills and demonstrated ability to work directly with clients and develop and execute service strategies.
