Heather McCloskey and Paul Menes join Sedgwick Detert as special counsel

Heather McCloskey Intellectual property attorneys Heather L. McCloskey and Paul Menes joined Sedgwick Detert's Los Angeles office as special counsel. (press release)

McCloskey focuses on copyright, trademark and general business litigation. She also counsels clients on ways to avoid litigation. She was previously a litigation partner at a Beverley Hills boutique firm Ervin Cohen, chairing its IP department.

Paul Menes Menes has over 25 years of experience representing entertainment and media clients  in North America, Japan and Europe as well at 20 years IP experience. He was previously a partner at Duval & Stachenfeld's Los Angeles office,  co-chairing its entertainment and media group. Menes also was a co-founder and partner at Tyre Kamins in Los Angeles.
