: Kentucky Law BlogJUDICIAL ELECTIONS: Video of Candidate Doug Kemper for Jefferson Circuit Court Judge
By Michael Stevens
I thought it might be a good idea to post another video found on YouTube to highlight the differences in how candidates are using this media.
Doug Kemper has several "television type" or 30 second videos posted at YouTube, he also has a much longer video where he talks straight to the voters about his background and who he is.
Doug Kemper and Charlie Cunningham are the candidates in a circuit court race in Jefferson County. To go to each candidate's web site, then click on their names below.
As you can see, the technology is changing the way candidates campaign for office in the partisan and nonpartisan races.
Doug Kemper for Judge - The Man
As always, posting the video or the information does not constitute an endorsement but is simply a public service to provide information on the races. I have also found an endorsement type video and a video of a candidate talking to a group of voters at an event. I will post these as examples of how the new media is altering the judicial landscape and would expect them to be more prevalent in the future. For the record, I found no videos on YouTube for Judge Cunningham.
