Fordham 16th Annual Conference on Intellectual Property Law & Policy

By Philip Brooks

ADVERTISEMENTS

Okay, it is officially CLE Tuesday now!  I just received a notice in the mail yesterday announcing Fordham Law School's "16th Annual Conference on Intellectual Property Law & Policy" at Lincoln Center in New York City on March 27 & 28, 2008.  Snail mail beat the Internet on this one and Fordham's website has a recap on last year's conference, but does not yet have details on this year's program.

The print notice did offer this quote from IPKat.com, "What distinguishes the conference is the sheer intensity of its focus.  Prominent speakers' papers became the subject of vigorous and often dramatic debate as big name IP experts came under sustained fire from their peers and were required to defend their IP beliefs."

Last year's faculty consisted of 139 speakers from 19 countries with 375 participants from 31 countries.  Fordham Law will post more information here soon.
