Wer einmal das Vergnügen hatte, Jonathan Zittrain live zu erleben, wird dieses Ereignis wahrscheinlich nicht vergessen. “The Kid”, wie ihn Larry Lessig immer nennt (nannte?), weil das Wunderkind 20 Jahre lang immer der jüngste in allen Gruppen war, in denen er mitarbeitete, hat eine Art vorzutragen, die großes Kino mit beeindruckender analytischer Schärfe verbindet. Deutsche Akademiker, die das eine von beiden zu bieten haben (die Analyse) - und davon gibt es zum Glück doch einige -, lassen den Unterhaltungswert fast immer schmerzlich vermissen. Was ein Fehler ist, denn einen Vortrag, den ich gern verfolge, behalte ich bestimmt auch besser in Erinnerung.
Zittrain hat nun ein neues Buch geschrieben, das ich noch nicht kenne, aber ich hoffe, es ist ebenso unterhaltsam wie seine Vorträge.
