A nursing home care taker has been taken into custody and charged with stealing from an elderly couple at the home. The care taker defrauded the couple by using their debit cards at several businesses. She removed the card from the elderly couple?s room and went to three different locations. The woman is currently in jail facing six felony charges including elderly abuse. Financial abuse is one of the many types of nursing home abuse that occurs.
