ACS's Blogfather Launches 'Overruled'

ADVERTISEMENTS

The founder of the ACSBlog, and now an attorney with the National Senior Citizens Law Center, has launched a blog devoted to revealing the harm done to millions of workers by the judiciary’s advancement of a deregulatory agenda. Citing the stories of Debbie Dantz and Lilly Ledbetter, both employees whose employment cases were sacked by federal courts, Ian Millhiser says he has created overruled to expose the “far too common” stories of workers who have seen their rights hindered by a judiciary more interested in protecting business interests. “When judges ignore the law to serve their own deregulatory agenda, people suffer, they lose their jobs, and they even die,” Millhiser wrote. “I hope my venture into the blogosphere can do something to keep this from happening.”

Also, Georgetown law professor Orrin Kerr, in a post on The Volokh Conspiracy, notes the return of Chris Geidner’s legal blog, dubbed “Law Dork, 2.0.” Geidner an attorney in Ohio writes on “law and politics of regulation and regulators at the state and federal level.” Visit Geidner’s blog here.
