Thakur The American College of Physicians has honored Indian-born Tapan Thakur, MD as one of the nation's top ten hospitalists. Thakur works right in my home town of Memphis and was noted for his development of a new system to improve patient care by re-engineering communications both within the hospital and with referring physicians.
