Legal malpractice case settled for $150 Million - Tort reformer happy business law firm is sued

By Steve Lombardi

ADVERTISEMENTS

The law firm of Irell & Manella was sued in April 2007 for “critical errors” in the legal work involved with a 1999 cable TV acquisition by Charter Communications. The law suit was filed in California. The WSJ reports Irell was paid $55 million in fees. Charter is from St. Louis. The suit was finally resolved as is indicated in this blawg title.

You can read the pleadings at this site.
