Are you currently receiving New York State?s NY-Alert Civilian Emergency Alert information?

If not, by registering for NY-Alert, a free service, you will be sent official warnings and emergency information via the web, your cell phone, email and other technologies automatically as they are issued.

These alerts advise those registered to receive the information of severe weather warnings, significant highway closures, hazardous materials spills, and many other emergency conditions.

Also posted is information concerning response actions being taken by local and state agencies and protective actions that you can take at home or at work. You may modify the type of information you receive and you may unsubscribe at any time. New York State offers this service in an effort to provide subscribers with critical information when they may need it most.
