Never Been on Drugs: Thanks

One of the nicest compliments ever paid to me: Someone said to a good friend of mine, "I'm worried about Mike.  Is he on drugs?"  My friend got a kick out of that.  "No, that's just how he is."I find that when people smoke a lot of marijuana, they are interesting to talk to.  Because, finally, they think about stuff the way I do without drugs.  One reason, I think, is because marijuana frees one from the tyranny of categories.  I was freed from categories in my teens.  It was something Gerry Spence wrote that woke me up.  Spence noted that people eat cereal for breakfast, not chili.  If a person ate chili for breakfast, he'd get sick.  Why is that?  There's no inherent reason a person can't eat chili for breakfast.  (Some people have GI issues, but that's another issue...continue to full post
