VERY MYSTERIOUS...

The saga of Omar Loureiro continues.  Sources tell us he's out of Broward County's jurisdiction for the time being, apparently set before a Palm Beach judge for his upcoming evidentiary hearing.  We could not, however, find any listing for "Omar Loureiro" on the Palm Beach Clerk's website.Having the hearing in Palm Beach is good news.  All of our questions would become moot.Still, the Broward Clerk's website continues to show Backman as the judge.  Docketrack shows the order of recusal signed November 21, 2008, and filed on December 19, 2008.  The entry also states "Randomly Reassigned to FA."  FA is Judge Towbin-Singer, who may not be death qualified at this point in time.  Then, on January 8, 2009, Dockettrack shows an entry "Reassign to Div FX...continue to full post
