JAABCAM GETS THE VELVET BOOT

1.) Hmmm, what's this all about? ... ; 2.)  ... Why, it's a presentation by a panel of 4th DCA judges for the benefit of the 17th Circuit Judiciary, Wednesday at noon, Judge Lebow's courtroom (Gross, May, Warner, Levine, Taylor, Gerber, Farmer & Damoorgian). We couldn't resist, so we went on in.  We managed the picture of the 4th Judges seen above, but weren't quick enough to get the better picture of all the Broward judges cramming the jury box and the pews.  Unfortunately, a female judge ratted us out to Judge Holmes, who gave us the velvet boot.  "I hate to do this," she said, "but this is judges only."  "But this is a public courtroom," we protested. "This isn't courthouse business," Judge Holmes said, rattling off some rule about the use of the courtrooms, all with a genuine smile...continue to full post
