Voter discrimination law debate rages (News 8 Austin)

The U.S. Supreme Court is set to hear an Austin case challenging a federal voter discrimination law. Section five of the Voting Rights Act requires any state with a history of discriminating against minority voters to get federal approval for any election changes. Some call it the most effective civil rights law passed in American history, while others say it's outdated and unfair.
