: Des Moines Personal Injury LawyerMedia On Trial: Did the Media Fail us with reporting Madoff? Part 7
By Steve Lombardi
Today we continue to analyse and ask why the media missed this softball and how over a ten year period there were no questions being asked in the print and electronic media.
The questions I have about media coverage begins with why weren't the doubts about Madoff's investment scheme aired in the news until after he admitted his investment group was nothing more than a Ponzi scheme? It isn't as if there weren't people and evidence to support a news story. So why wasn't it deemed news worthy?
This post looks at the "who you screwed" notion of investment fraud. As you will see there is an angle to this story that has a rather predictably ominous outcome. If the mob or drug cartel were in fact Madoff investment clients the likelihood of his quick demise in prison is a foregone conclusion; and may explain why he let it go on for as long as he did. The future wealthy lifestyle of his family is not likely to escape their attention either. Either inside or outside the walls of prison none of them are likely to be safe from harms way. To what extent can or will the various governments involved intervene to insure their safety?
March 12, 2009 - Bernard Madoff Jailed - NWO-Gangster in Jail - Larry Levine - Frederic Prinz von Anhalt - Here is how the investors see Madoff. Anger boiling over with words that convey the depth of emotion involved with losing all of their wealth.

CNN's Anderson Cooper interviews a former Federal Inmate who "consults" to Wall Street on doing time in Prison. Cooper asks him about how Bernie Madoff will do in Prison.
Larry Levine – He refers to Bernie as being 'radioactive'. You don't trust anyone. You find two or three people you 'run with' and that is how you survive prison. What would he advise Bernie to do?
He would advise him: To keep his mouth shut and show the ultimate respect. There is a lot of tension in prison. And Bernie is noted to be very arrogant. Is it arrogance, fear or the realization that he's in many ways a man walking down the street with a bullseye on his back?
And it leads us to ask who are the international co-conspirators? More than likely they are international bankers. Someone may want him dead to shut him up just as badly as the ones he screwed. This story has all the intrigue of a mystery thriller. There may be bribery involved with shutting people up, along with contracts paid to someone for the purpose of taking him out. Greed carries with it an entirely different cost of doing business. Greed is a risky business.
