Are You Related To A President?

Mountrushmore Okay, this might be a tad cheeky or crass, but what kind of marketing advantage would you have if you were related to one or more of the 43 Presidents of the United States?  What kind of cachet does that information buy you?

I do not care if it is Millard Filmore or James Garfield.  It has to be a whole lot better than all of those Who's Who many buy into.

Certainly, it is not going to make your practice, but it does help to give you a little recognition, a little appreciation, I little acceptance, a pump, a bit of approval, a tad of favor that you might not ordinarily have.  It will give those you need something to remember and to discuss with others.  It means you come magna cum laude.

What is wrong with knowing your family history a little better.  Besides, let us face it, we all like a little acclaim, a few kudos, some approbation, a bit of notability.

And, maybe most of us a far removed from the old country, but heritage matters to people deep down.  It makes a big difference if you are related to George Washington as opposed to Charles Manson.  Agreed?  Heritage can instantly define you.

To find out, go to the Burke's Peerage and Gentry website.  It lists all of the American Presidents, and others, and allows you to view their family records.
