Rachel Raskin-Zrihen reports in the Time-Herald: "After nearly 90 minutes of sometimes passionate public comment, a split City Council has effectively killed a proposed anti-discrimination resolution aimed at supporting gay marriage . . . In a procedural move, Councilman Ed West moved to table indefinitely the resolution that stated that the city opposes discrimination in any form, including with regard to gender in marriage."
