Timecop styleIn case you've been holed up in the library working on your Moot Court brief, a 3L was thrown out of Barrister's for being drunk and disorderly when he refused to leave the bathroom.  Then when he spit either at the ground or at the security guards a taser was brandished and he was either tased or quickly complied.  There are varying accounts.  We've heard he was arrested and basically going to have an awesome time finishing his bar application. UPDATE: We found the arrest report.

Other than that, only a few people got tossed for excessive drunkenness, meaning the addition of heavy appetizers, gaming activities and the SBA president's e-mail exhortation to act normal will allow us to have Barrister's at the same location two years in a row.  Woot!

Why is it law students are unable to act like non-assholes, or at least match undergrads when it comes to Barrister's and PILA (where some 1Ls began tearing dry wall down in their suite), which are basically our fancy events?  Is it the pregaming?  The open bar?  The tuxedoes?  We're not really ones to get on about the occasional bit of loutishness, but this is bordering on the ridiculous and a little embarassing.  Feel free to discuss in the comments, as well as any verified information on the taser incident.  (You don't have to enter your e-mail, just an e-mail).
