Unfortunately, I rose to the ranks (check it here) as a most popular read because of the story on Judge Somma, which is not nearly as important as what's going on in Franconia and at the Union Leader. It is what it is, however, and even in that I see the people are stopping to read up on Franconia, and THAT is where the battle is won or lost -- not over whether Judge Somma committed an indiscretion, or whether Sara Jessica Parker is getting any. FWIW I'd be pretty comfortable voting in the affirmative on that Parker question =^.)

PS: Told you I scooped the Union Leader -- A day later they ran this story. Excerpt in comments; here's the terse-est resignation letter I've ever seen. Again, I think he should have stood tall and told everyone to go to hell but I guess at 63 he didn't feel like fighting that battle. Then too, with a docket like this, I might bail too.
