KXII's First News aired this story on May 26, 2009 about a proposal by Senator Jay Paul Gumm, D-Durant, to prohibit sex offenders from driving ice cream vending trucks in our neighborhoods. The measure was spurred by several high-profile cases in other states in which child predators used ice cream trucks as a means to attract potential victims.
