Gallion gets 25 years in fen-phen fraud case

U.S. District Judge Danny Reeves also ordered the disbarred lawyers to pay $127 million restitution to their victims, and to forfeit $30 million to the government.

The sentencings cap a legal fraud case described as one of the biggest in U.S. history and which might have been the largest theft ever in Kentucky.
