The history of The Conglomerate lies in pages and pages of archives, but you can find a condensed version on our About page. Today we add a new paragraph to the history, as Vic Fleischer and Fred Tung have elected to take emeritus status. A new page, dedicated to their contributions to the blog, is linked in the sidebar with the Emeriti button.

Vic will continue blogging some on his personal site, the revitalized A Taxing Blog, from which he may make an occasional cross-post to The Conglomerate. Fred has some other plans that involve The Conglomerate, which we will announce tomorrow. Fortunately for us, this means we will not be parting permanently from either of them, but only partially. And only online because we continue to value Vic and Fred as real-world friends, not just blogging buddies.
