Buffalo Structured Settlement Broker in New York State Insurance Disciplinary Action

The New York State Insurance Department reported in a July 31, 2009 press release (p6/13) that it has taken disciplinary action against structured settlement consulting firm, Pressman Settlements Corporation and Elizabeth B. Pressman of 218 Wellingwood Drive Amherst, NY. According to the New York Insurance department publication, "Respondent failed to report to the Superintendent (New York Superintendent of Insurance) within 30 days of the final disposition of the matter that Respondent Pressman Settlements Corporation was fined by the Florida Department of Financial Services. NOT GOOD!

New York State Insurance Department indicates the aforementioned was agreed by Pressman, (formerly President of NYSTLA's largest contributor in 2007-08) in a stipulation dated May 14, 2009.
