 Diane Cuddihy, Real Life HeroCounty Commission meeting tomorrow - The following message is from BACDL President Russell Williams:Thursday, at 5 pm, is the Commission meeting regarding the Sheriff's budget.  The Sheriff has submitted a budget to the county which DOES NOT include any funding for jail treatment programs.  At this point the only way to get funding for any treatment programs is for the commission to vote to fund these programs and have the county pay for them.  To operate these programs based upon last years budget, would be approximately 1.2 million.  It is BACDL's understanding the commission has approx. 232 million dollars in reserve funding available.  What is needed is less than 1% to run these programs for another year...continue to full post
