AstraZeneca is seeking a Senior Patent Litigation Attorney.

In this position, you will provide strategic litigation and legal advice to various AstraZeneca senior management, business teams and R&D organizations regarding US and global intellectual property litigations and related global intellectual property issues. The selected candidate will be responsible for setting strategies and managing a caseload of multiple patent lawsuits and claims in the US and Canada, as well as personally managing and leading teams comprised of internal and external resources to achieve cost-effective and successful outcomes. 

Qualifications:
? JD degree and 6-8 years of employment in patent litigation as a private practice litigation attorney or in-house litigation counsel
? Comprehensive knowledge of patent litigation and procedures and the ability to apply that knowledge to achieve established company goals
? Litigation-team management experience
? Patent litigation experience in Hatch-Waxman matters or cases involving pharmaceutical or biotechnology arts preferred
? An educational background in biology, biochemistry, chemistry or a related field preferred
? Registration with the US Patent and Trademark Office preferred
