MOVERS: SoCal Bingham gains Proskauer vet Silbergeld

Arthur F. Silbergeld, a former partner in the Los Angeles office of New York's Proskauer Rose, has moved to Bingham McCutcheon. Silbergeld worked at Proskauer for 10 years.

Bingham's Southern California offices have attracted other prominent attorneys in recent months. In July, Christopher Cox, the former chairman of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, joined the office in Costa Mesa, Calif. In April, Nathan Hochman, assistant U.S. attorney in charge of the U.S. Department of Justice's Tax Division, joined the Santa Monica office.

Silbergeld said that he is the first labor and employment partner to join Bingham's office in Santa Monica, and it was the firm's reputation for labor and employment litigation on the West Coast drew him to Bingham.
