KingCast presents: Casey Sherman book events for early October, 2009 and a comment about Liko Kenney, Bruce McKay and multiple-felon Greg Floyd.

ADVERTISEMENTS
Casey Sherman is on FOX-25 Morning News next week September 29th at 7:30 am discussing "Bad Blood: Freedom and Death in the White Mountains." There is a reading at Gibson's Book Store in Concord, NH on 1 October 2009 7-8pm, and he and I will be on Touch FM 106.1 audio stream at 8:00 a.m. 8 October, 2009. As I say, we intentionally maintained separate investigative tracks, but we have mutual friends and obviously ran into each other from time to time.

This comment by a former U.S. JAG Attorney so he must know what he's talking and writing about, after careful reflection he wrote a piece entitled "Try Gregory Floyd for Murder."

Here's the salient part:

The key factor is did Mr. Floyd have any options other than the actions he chose when he slaughtered Liko Kenney without saying a word.

The definition of Murder:
To kill with premeditated malice; to kill (a human being) willfully, deliberately, and unlawfully.

What Liko Kenney did appears wrong, but we know from Caleb Macaulay's contemporaneous statements that he was genuinely in fear of Bruce McKay, which most likely renders his act no more than manslaughter.

********

I concur wholeheartedly and point everyone to the windshield bullet that Kelly Ayotte never analysed and that Floyd fired at Liko's car before the car ever struck Bruce McKay. Also I add the fact that there was never any investigation into the improprieties of the traffic stop itself by the Town of Franconia or by (thankfully former) NH AG Kelly Ayotte's Office. Under her auspices, the AG's office and other LE conducted an intentionally deceitful "investigation" because McKay's violation of seven (7) OC Spray and Pursuit policies against Mr. Kenney and his friend, Caleb Macaulay, over an expired inspection sticker is what scared the hell out of Liko and made him fear for his life. Anyway, Kelly Ayotte's dirty administration cleared Floyd -- now in prison for unlawfully threatening an older woman with a gun -- in 24 hours of any wrongdoing, fancy that.

Kelly never conducted an investigation, and probably advised Franconia not to because it would have shown that Liko Kenney shot Bruce McKay out of fear or self-defense, and once you have Gregory Floyd killing someone who acted in self-defense or fear/manslaughter you have a whole different ball game and you have to start unpacking Floyd's lies and the specific history of Bruce McKay in Franconia and why many many people feared him.

Watch the KingCast movie short, "Franconia 5/11: Injustice on Stilts."
Watch Liko Kenney talk about life in the North Country.
