1st Day Of School - make sure to bring an apple for your new teachers Monday.  Most of the changes contained in this Administrative Order go into effect today.  New Judge Coming - expect an announcement soon regarding the circuit court seat being vacated by Judge Vitale.  The Governor has through Tuesday, January 12th, to make his decision.  As far as anyone can tell, he'll be choosing between Michael Usan and Raag Singhal.  The original short list made to replace Judge Carney is apparently still in effect (minus Judge Haimes, of course), since the remaining candidates sent up by the JNC - Chris Pole, Maria Schneider, and Julio Gonzalez, were reportedly never interviewed by the Governor.  It's down to the wire ...continue to full post
