Zelotes complaints re Total Attorneys in CT

ADVERTISEMENTS
The hearing panel in this much-watched case dismissed all complaints after a day of testimony. The respondents were not required to complete their testimony. The panel will issue a full explanation but the summary is annexed. This is the case asking whether participation in Total Attorneys website violated professional conduct rules. I was noticed as an expert for the lawyer-respondents but will not now need to testify. Surprisingly, a Yale clinic seems to have come in on the side of the authorities, an anti-free speech stance that also hurts "the little guy." There was no evidence of client confusion and the prosecution argued it did not even need to introduce any because the conduct was per se improper. Download Summary Decision in 09-0412 Zelotes v Rousseau et al
