Great discussion budding over at the Linkedin China Law Blog Group among some really knowledgeable China people on whether there really is such a thing as top Chinese brands in the worldwide market and if and when there will be such a thing. David Dayton of Silk Road International blog started the discussion by laying down the gauntlet by proclaiming not now and not likely later either. He then he took the ball with him by posting on it over at his own blog in a post entitled, "Famous Chinese brands and other things you've never heard of." I urge you all to go here to join the fun.
