Is The "Oldest and Largest Settlement Annuity Company" Also The Biggest Puffer?

IS RINGLER ASSOCIATES ACTUALLY PROUD OF THIS?

We reported over 2 months ago that In discussing the role of the structured settlement broker on its website, Ringler Associates states:

"Obviously, the structured settlement broker with access to the most life companies will be in a position to offer a very competitive annuity price". To underscore this point Ringler Associates CONTINUES TO POST an astonishing 7 companies on its website that no longer write structured settlements.

The SEVEN companies that Ringler Associates says write structured settlement that don't are:

4 Genworth companies

American Mayflower Life Insurance Company of New York

First Colony Life Insurance Company

GE Capital Assurance Company

GE Capital Life Insurance Company of New York

3 Other companies

Hartford Life Insurance Company

Travelers Life Insurance Company

F&G Life/Old Mutual

For your information

Travelers Life was acquired by Met Life in 2005

Genworth exited from the structured settlement business in September 2006

Our sources tell us that F&G LIfe/Old Mutual ceased writing structured settlements in early 2009.

Hartford ceased writing structured settlement business over 3 months ago

No word on why Massachusetts Mutual, Monumental, Transamerica, ING and Aviva were not included to puff up the numbers.

Why does Ringler Associates website also continue to include a disproportionate number of associates biographies that inaccurately represent their professional credentials related to the Certified Structured Settlement Consultant Professional designation?  Ringler inaccurately suggests that the designation was conferred on certain associates by the University of Notre Dame (or worse Notre Dame University) when it is actually conferred by the National Structured Settlement Trade Association in cooperation with UND.

Why can't Ringler Associates take a leadership position in presenting accurate information to the public?

While some will grumble that they have higher priorities, just remember that the structured settlement watchdog DID NOT write the text for the Ringler website.
