NEW COURTHOUSE BLUES

Dear Diary - today we met with the former Mayor of Broward County, Commissioner Stacy Ritter.  She was very gracious.  We didn't bother asking too many silly questions about the new courthouse project, since a chance to beg for money for drug programs from one of the people who can make it happen doesn't roll around every day.  In fact, when we asked if it might be possible to find money for the programs, she answered "Yes" without hesitation.  Is the new financial flexibility tied up with the PR campaign for the new construction project, or is Stacy the White Knight that Broward's poor communities have been praying for?  Only time will tell, Dear Diary ...Speaking of the New Courthouse project - lots of people seem to be concerned about defeat being snatched from the jaws of victory...continue to full post
