: Effective, Ethical Marketing For AttorneysTime to Throw Away Your To-Do List
By Ben Glass
You probably had to read the title of this blog post twice to make sure you understood it correctly. After all, who would recommend that you throw away your to-do list? How are you supposed to remember all of the things you have to get done today?
What I'm actually recommending is that you do away with the "traditional" to-do list. The majority of lawyers start writing on a piece of paper and end up with a pretty long list. This list may be numbered or starred to show the priority. Once they have finished a task, they mark it off their list and move onto the next item. There is no day assigned to each task or an estimate on how much time it will take to get it done. Often times, there isn't even a set deadline. However, it is interesting how lawyers can get things done when there is a court-imposed deadline.
