: Legal Pad | LANew human rights clinic to start at Gould

Hannah Garry, clinical assistant professor of law at the University of Colorado School of Law in Boulder, has been hired by USC Gould School of Law to launch an international human rights clinic.
The new clinic will allow students to work on cases before international tribunals and with lawyers in Africa who represent asylum seekers and refugees. Students will focus on civil litigation involving human rights violations abroad, bringing claims under the Alien Tort Statute.
Garry will join USC on Aug. 1.
