By Paul Napoli
An accident Monday afternoon involving a chainsaw and a ladder has injured an employee of a tree trimming company, www.longislandpress.com reports.
Nassau County police told the news website that the accident happened about 3:45 p.m. on Foxhurst Road in Oceanside when the chainsaw used by Frank Villegas, 63, of Hempstead, bounced off a tree limb and seriously cut his arm. He then lost his balance and fell off his ladder to the ground 6 or 8 feet below.
Emergency services transported Villegas to South Nassau Communities Hospital where they list him in serious but stable condition.
