Aphasia information

Aphasia is a disorder that results from damage to portions of the brain that are responsible for language and often happens after a traumatic brain injury. The disorder impairs the expression and understanding of language as well as reading and writing.

The Brain Injury Association of America (BIAA) is hosting a webnair on  ?Aphasia & Brain Injury,? on May 11, 2010, 3 ? 4 p.m. EST with Ellayne Ganzfried, M.S., CCC-SLP, and Executive Director of the National Aphasia Association.
