Are teams, other visitors, fans and journalists safe in South Africa during the FIFA World Cup?
South Africa has one of the highest crime rates in the world and as far as hosting football competitons the country already had a preliminary trial of sorts during the Confederations Cup last year in which several crime incidents were reported.
