In his Presidential Proclamation declaring Father?s Day, President Obama declared the following:
Nurturing families come in many forms, and children may be raised by a father and mother, a single father, two fathers, a step father, a grandfather, or caring guardian....Apparently the president forgot single mothers, stepmothers, and two mother families, not to mention children being raised in polygamous or polyamorous families.
