The Sun Sentinel's Tonya Alanez has come up with a real gem. It turns out yet another Broward prosecutor is caught in a potential ethical quagmire, investigated for striking a bicyclist at 12:20 AM Friday morning and not sticking around to iron out the details (gee, why would she leave?).
Read all about it here.
This one is of special interest to JAABLOG readers. The ASA in question, Lilas Ayandeh, is the same trial attorney who refused to do the right thing in State v. Kerle Alce. Her name has previously been withheld, but enough's enough. We've left word with Alce, and we'll get back to you with his comments.
GREAT JOB TONYA!
